Who We Are

12 Hills Dog Rescue began as a family-owned -all breed rescue that is located on our farm near the community of Walthill, NE. Our family was surprised when we turned our barn into a dog kennel. Since then we have added another kennel building that holds 20+ kennels. It seems that it always full.  Our children, grandchildren, friends and some great volunteers have all taken a part in helping the dogs we rescue.   Each animal we have rescued is given special care, medical attention and lots of love. Then we do our best to find each of them a new responsible, loving family.

Adopting a friend

Our goal for the dogs that we rescue, is to see to their physical and social needs, and find loving, caring homes for each one of them. Some of them have suffered serious neglect and respond well to love and good care.

Donating to 12 Hills Dog Rescue

12 Hills Dog Rescue is now a 501c3 non-profit and accepts donations to help us pay for veterinary supplies and expenses. (There is always a great need for funds to assist with  spaying or neutering and flea and tick medication.) Dog food, pet toys and bedding are always needed and appreciated.

Sponsoring a pet

You can also help by sponsoring a dog until they find their forever home with monetary donations or supplies. The dogs seem to know when a special gift box is opened with new toys, dog beds and treats.
